CityFest 2010 held in Mission Bay Park

On Saturday, the 2010 San Diego CityFest occurred and brought thousands of people to Mission Bay Park.

The event is a giant Christian gathering and it is put on by international evangelist, Luis Palau. Along with plenty of prayer, there were events ranging from rock concerts to BMX motorcross events. The event cost almost $1.1 million to put on and to celebrate the end of the Season of Service.

The Season of Service is an event that over 50,000 San Diegans participated in and it involves volunteering to feed the homeless or picking up trash in local neighborhoods.
