The San Diego County Equestrian Foundation hosted their first House Expo and Fall Festival over the weekend.
The festival featured everything from a petting zoo, pony rides and demonstrations of calf roping and horse disciplines. Nearly 300 people came out to the Hunter Equestrian Center in Escondido to participate in the activities.
The foundation has only been around for about three months and was put together in order to work on developing equestrian-friendly ordinances by working with the County to update their general plan. The goal of the festival was to raise awareness of the importance of keeping rural areas for the equine to live and to give horse-lovers a fun activity to attend.
If you or a loved one are looking for a place to visit that has great attractions daily for the whole family to enjoy. Visit the San Diego area and reserve a spot at South Mission Beach condos today.
