A trade expo conducted by the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering will be held on Saturday, March 21 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Petco Park.
Over 130 companies, organizations, and local businesses will showcase inventions and experiments in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at the expo. The event is part of a week-long festival designed to promote STEM-related career paths to children and young adolescents alike. There will also be an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest HTML coding event in one place started at around 1 p.m., with organizers trying to gather as much as 10,000 coders who are as young as five years old at the Padres Dugout Stage to surpass the 2,000-person record.
