Comic-Con tickets gone in record sale

The ticket sale for Comic-Con in San Diego, California on Saturday, February 20 excited and disappointed fans alike as tickets for the four-day event sold out in record time. Tickets were already long gone one hour after the sale began, even faster than last year’s record of one hour.

Comic-Con organizers said it is highly unlikely that they will set up another opprotunity for Comic-Con fans to buy tickets.

The yearly pop culture special has long been too populated to be held in the San Diego Convention Center, leaving organizers to make use of large convention hotels, downtown parking lots, and even Petco Park at times.

Over 130,000 attendees, including Hollywood celebrities, directors, and authors, grace the event annually.

If you are planning to attend this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, you might want to rent a condominium or townhouse in Mission Beach, which is a two-mile stretch of white-sand beach. After seeing your favorite pop culture idols during the day, indulge in a night-time swim when you return to your lodgings.
