This year there will be even more fried food choices.

Additions to the food vendor list this year will include fried cereal, fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and fried pork chops. Healthier options will also be featured at the fair this year, but vendors are expecting an influx of orders for the fried food due to its popularity last year.

This year’s opera will feature four labor-intensive works and each one will have English translation written out above the stage. This season there is 30 principle singers, the San Diego Opera Chorus, the San Diego Symphony, dancers, and extras.

There are many other parts that go into creating the Opera including conductors, stage directors, wig and make-up artists, costumers, stage managers, electricians, and carpenters. Balancing the budget with such a large production is a struggle and last year they had to cut the number of Operas down from five to four.
