There are events coming up in December to meet a variety of unique tastes in San Diego.

If you want to engage in a festive activity while contributing to charity, sing a holiday tune during Carols & Barrels, a benefit for cancer on Saturday, December 3 at the Portway Pavilion. Taste some of the best-tasting chili and San Diego’s finest craft beers when you attend the SoNo Fest and Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, December 4. Or, if you prefer to look at wonderfully decorated houses, attend the 30th Annual Holiday Home Tours the same day.

Theater fans can watch Tony award winning stage, film, and television actor Brian Stokes Mitchell perform at Simply Broadway, a concert benefiting the La Jolla Playhouse and The Actors Fund, a national arts and entertainment group, on Monday, December 12. A party before Christmas on Wednesday, December 14 will happen along B Street downtown, brought to you by the Downtown San Diego Partnership.
